Transaction went well. Item was not as cold as I thought it should have been for shipping.

Le Village, Thank you for the attention to my dilemma. While I understand the delay, I wish that you had been a bit more communicative in your handling of this order, given its perishable nature and my reliance on having it arrive in a timely manner. A party I had given was not the same without it. Thank you again for the attention to this matter. I will be watching for a refund.

The only complaint I have is that I didn't realize the seller used FedEx. My fault. FedEx charged me $45.00 to ship the product half way to my home, then dropped it in the US Post Office. I contacted Le Village and they were surprised that FedEx was less than honest with them, showing the product had arrived Jan. 9, 2012 at 11:20 in Port Lions, when that is when they gave it to USPS in Anchorage.

The macarons were excellent and arrived well packed in ice. It was a gift: my friend was impressed by the quality but could not find out WHO sent it to her. There way no way to send a message.

Took to long to receive the product for the price of shipping.

I rated this fair only because the puree was completely melted when it arrived, despite all the cooling packaging. Luckily that worked in my favor as I wanted to divide the puree into smaller portions anyway and I had read in the Q&A that you could refreeze if it arrived thawed.

To me it didn't seem like the first time I bought it. It was missing some kind of spices. It was good though. The price is a little high for me but I don't buy it that often.
